Hotter than You-Know-What, On Sunday Sept 7th

Holy Cow..105 degrees on the patio..about that in my work room and as fast as I'm melting, that's how fast my clay is drying as i'm trying to work. Picture this if you will..LOL:
A middle aged, "plump" woman wearing shorts and a tank top. My hair pulled up in the back with a make up has long slid off my face from the heat..My glasses are trying to slip away..Hot Diet coke in one hand..a gourd in the other..trying to make something, just about anything will do, at this point. Pretty picture ,huh?!..LOL I want to go jump in the pool, but my Husband is out in the Sun painting our house..So i will refrain from the pool till he is done.(Besides the ladder is blocking my way out!)..At this point i'm wondering why we decided to live in the Desert..LOL..
Well gotta run..I heard the paint brush hit the patio table and a proclaimation of "I'm done for the day"..So I'm jumping in the pool and I may stay there until it's time to post next weekend, and hopefully i can think of something "Profound" to say between now & then!

I hear ya Candy! My workshop was 110 degrees on Saturday. I've got a swamp cooler in their, but the darn thing blows over anything I work on. Looking foward to winter...and then you'll hear me bitch about it being too cold! Oh, how we suffer for our art...LOL.
