" Dream Journal" for June 'Arts a Flutter

Here is a a 8" x 6" Altered Book..I needed a little break from clay..LOL.
This book is natural brown paper inside. I covered the front & back using various papers, inks, words..I used vintage typewriter keys to spell out the word "Dream"..I also used Tim Holtz "grungeboard" for the swirls at 2 corners and for the wings ( I Love Grungeboard)...
I also used green glass glitter, and some of Annies green vintage seam binding. The inside pages are mostly blank, I have ran some inks over some of them and added a few inspirational words here and there..But left plenty of room for Journaling. This book will be available on ' Arts a Flutter, June 1sy!

A little R & R...Off to see the.....

No, not the Wizard...LOL..We are taking a trip to visit my Momma for a day, then on to CO to see our Grandson..My Hubs hasn't seen him yet.
My Little Guy is now 4 months old and has changed soooo much since I saw him in Jan.! I can't wait!
We are driving and I'm looking forward to the break from everyday life, and yes, even from working. My clay will be waiting for me when I get home and I will be jumping full force into creating Halloween & Christmas pieces. I may make an Americana piece or 2 for the June 1st update of 'Arts a Flutter.

This Trio of the night, will be listed on Ebay Sunday Evening, May 10th.
They are gourds with clay..It's never to early to start collecting Halloween. I had so much fun with these I may just create ornies for awhile!
