"Celebrate 365"..and "Thank You" to Connie Porcher!

I told a friend earlier that when I posted about this, I wanted to sound professional, rather than like an excited little kid..The Truth is though,
I haven't felt so excited since I was a kid! This is the first time my work has been published and I feel like shouting it in the street..LOL
I was surprised I had nerve enough to submit my work, and so very grateful to Connie for feeling it was worthy enough to be shown in her magazine "Celebrate 365"..The Halloween/Fall edition!
The other VERY COOL thing is that many of my fellow Artists/Friends
from AHA & EHAG are in the same issue! In fact, Lori Rudolph of "Retro Rudolphs", not only has her work in this issue, but designed the front & back the most AWESOME Retro Fashion!
Hop over to Lori's blog to check out her Art work, and to Celebrate 365 to order single issues, or a subscription!

California Fires

Good Morning Everyone!
I have been getting a lot of emails from fellow artists & customers wondering if I am ok, and out of harms way from the fires.
We are about 20 miles from the closet fire and in NO DANGER.
We have not really seen the sun for almost a week, as the smoke
is covering it. Last Saturday was the worst day. There were chunks of burned debris floating thru the air, the air was so thick with smoke, the streets were empty..Sunday morning when we woke up there was a thick layer of ash covering everything.
It is just so very sad, as of today the fire is at almost 30% contained.
If the winds would stop the Firefighters may have a better chance of
getting them out!
But anyway...Thanks Everyone for your concern!
