"Harvest Moon Howl"..EHAG August Challenge

Ok..with a Challenge name like that..how could I not participate?!

The above are my 2 pieces so far..the Challenge runs all month :)..

I'm sort of a Creative Roll right now, and it's a long time coming..

So no telling how many pieces ol' Howling Moon here, will get done!

The top pictures is the " Harvest Howl Trio"..Not a great shot of the winking cat up top..but there's a good pic on my auction.

The bottom pic is " Harvest Moon". I've used black mica flakes on his hat..and copper german glass glitter.

Her dress is a very cool vintage look fabric with cats, owls and pumpkins!

New WIPS....Don't Faint..LOL

I finally have some motivation! I created these new pieces this week,
and will be working from here on..I have 2 Owls here, the one sitting in the glass jar will be wearing a dress :)..I found some very cool Vintage Look Halloween fabrics that has Owls and black Cats all over it and I think this piece will be very cool finished..I also have a Devil wearing a top hat with a thin mustache..His Title will be " You Sly Devil"..and I can't wait to get him finished! Of course I've also got a couple pumpkins and of course a Skelly!

My Grandma and The Party...

Here's a picture of the " Birthday Girl", at my house..celebrating her 90th Birthday! My siblings and I managed to pull off the surprise..LOL
which was no easy fete!
We had a great time..Lots of food..LOL..I made a huge pan of lasagna,
my sister in law made a delicious salad with hearts of romaine, mandarin oranges, cranberries, chopped apples, celery, green onions..topped with a sweet vinaigrette dressing. My Sister brought the Margarita fixins'..LOL (and by the way..Our Granny had 4 Margaritas)..and my Lil Twin sisters brought the chips and salsa!
My Bro & family got here Weds, and my Sisters Thurs morning. I went and picked up my Granny and her friend at 3pm on Thurs. They thought they were just coming to my house for dinner :)..It was very cool when we walked in and everyone yelled "Surprise"..LOL..We got Granny to wear the crown long enough to snap a couple pics!
Everyone went home Friday morning..All my siblings live up towards Northern CA..So now I've rested :), and it's time to get back to work!
Bring on Halloween!!! :)
